Connectivism Reflections..

Image result for connectivism
Connectivism speaks that, Learning is a process of connecting specialized nodes or information sources. I have been learning through connections with people and other associated resources.
My network has changed me in terms of thinking, new abilities to do things differently and learning as a whole. As I am very much connected to other people, social media platforms, web resources and prints, it is often that I get new skills day after day. Some of the knowledge may be useful while some may not but the network is very effective on my side as long as I am aware of filtering the beat from what I get.
I mostly use my laptop as main tool for the delivery of all my learning contents. I may use my smartphone sometimes but for contacting people, social media issues and other minor matters but for the serious learning matters like earning certifications and the Masters degree program I am currently studying, Computer stands the first.
I do pose questions in forums for clarifications when I have questions. YouTube answers a lot of my technical questions related to designs and content development through tutorials. Wikipedia, Slide share and LinkedIn have been also the source of answers to most of my questions, As for the Master’s degree I am currently studying, There is a platform where I may ask my fellow colleague through discussion forums or private emails and formatters that need the Instructor, there is a feature to contact the instructor directly.
As connectivity involves diversity, autonomy, interactivity and openness, my network has been able to capture all the main areas that connectivism need. I have been learning through the widest possible spectrum of points of revealed views and magnification of each view. The knowledge has always been produced as a product of interactivity either between two people or more physically or through different platforms such as forums, chats and others.

I think being mobile device such as phones and ipads are going to be much more popular as people become more mobile and require continuous flexible.

  2. It is true what you are saying. Mobile devices are very easy and portable in terms of usability. There will be still a need of computers because not all the things can run better with mobile devices.
